I recently visited Aberdeen (my sister is doing her master there) and I really loved it!!

I wrote a journal in my page and I uploaded a couple of photos so far...they seem too little for such a beautiful place. :(

Glad to see you!

Hi

Thank you very much for the great comment on 'Other Side'. I used my digital Canon Powershot G5 for the shot, im not experienced enough with an SLR to do IR shots with it. and i only know how to develop black and white film =P

If you've got access to developing kit then you should give 35mm I.R. photography a go. It really is very rewarding. :)The chemicals and process are the same as for B&W. Just buy some I.R. Film and pop it in to you 35mm camera. Obviously TOTAL darkness is required when processing the film (no red light). The only other thing to remember is that because the I.R. light wavelength is different to normal visable light you need to offset your point of focus to compensate (i.e. what looks in focus on your viewfinder will actually be out of focus on the film). My Nikon SLR lenses all had a small RED line on them that showed this point, so all you had to do was focus normally through the veiwfinder and then offset the focus to the RED line prior to taking the shot - and hey presto - jobs a good one :)
